There is continuous investigation for finding the most efficient and economical method with little side effects for the treatment of cutaneous leishemaniasis. For this purpose we performed a comparative study between intralesional glucantime injection and cryotherapy in the treatment of papular cutaneous leishmaniasis. Materials&Methods: In this clinical trial 47 patients with papular cutaneous leishmaniasis refered to dermatology clinic of Ghaem hospital in Mashhad were assayed. All patients had positive direct smears. They divided randomly in two groups. First group treated by weekly intralesional glucantime injection and second group treated by weekly cryotherapy. The length of therapy for two groups was 5 weeks. Two groups were followed for 1.5 months after the last week of the treatment. Results: Thirty eight patients completed the study, 21 patients with 35 lesions and 17 patients with 36 lesions were treated by interalesional injection of glucantime and cryotherapy respectively. Clinically in interalesional glucantime group 37.1% of lesions and in cryotherapy group 22.2% of lesions completely cured. The difference between two groups was not statistically significant using chi-square test. Conclusion: Cryotherapy in comparison with interalesional glucantime injection is equally effective and also is cheaper with little side effect. چکیده فارسی مقاله زمينه و هدف: ليشمانيوز جلدی يکی از بيماری های اندميک در ايران می باشد. درمان های سيستميک و موضعی مختلفی برای بيماری استفاده می شود. جستجو برای يافتن روش موثر، ارزان و با حداقل عوارض جانبی برای اين بيماری ادامه دارد. برای اين منظور تصميم گرفته شد مقايسه ای بين روش تزريق داخل ضايعه گلوکانتيم و روش کرايوتراپی در درمان ليشمانيوز پوستی پاپولر انجام شود.روش بررسی: در اين کار آزمايی باليني47 بيمار مبتلا به سالک پاپولر مراجعه کننده به درمانگاه پوست بيمارستان قائم (عج) مشهد مورد ارزيابی قرار گرفتند. همه بيماران اسمير مستقيم مثبت از نظر جسم ليشمن داشتند. بيماران به صورت تصادفی به دو گروه تقسيم شدند. گروه اول تحت درمان با گلوکانيسم به روش تزريق داخل ضايعه به طور هفتگی و گروه دوم تحت درمان با کرايوتراپی هفته ای يک بار قرار گرفتند که در هر دو گروه دوره درمان5 هفته تکرار شد. هر دو گروه 1.5 ماه پس از آخرين نوبت درمان پيگيری شدند.يافته ها: 38 بيمار مطالعه را کامل نمودند که21 بيماربا 35 ضايعه در گروه تزريق داخل ضايعه گلوکانيسم و 17 بيمار با 36 ضايعه در گروه گلوکانيسم با تزريق داخل ضايعه 37.1 درصد ضايعات و در گروه کرايوتراپی 22.2 درصد ضايعات از نظر بالينی، بهبود کامل يافتند (بهبود 100 درصد ضايعه) که با استفاده از آزمون کای اسکوئر اختلاف آماری معنی داری بين دو روش وجود نداشت.نتيجه گيری:کرايوتراپی در مقايسه با روش تزريق داخل ضايعه گلوکانتيم به همان اندازه موثر و در عين حال ارزان تر و با عوارض جانبی کمتر می باشد. کلیدواژه‌های انگلیسی مقاله Cutaneous leishmaniasis, Glucantime, Cryotherapy کلیدواژه‌های فارسی مقاله ليشمانيوز جلدی، گلوکانيسم، کرايوتراپی صفحه آغاز مقاله در نشریه ۱۶ صفحه پایان مقاله در نشریه ۱۹ نشانی اینترنتی http://www.goums.ac.ir/journal/browse.php?a_code=A-10-1-70&slc_lang=fa&sid=fa فایل مقاله فایلی برای مقاله ذخیره نشده است نویسندگان مقاله 4350---4351---4352--- برای برگشت به بخش مقاله‌های منتشر شده اینجا را کلیک كنید.
